August 16 2010 - New Camera

I recently purchased a new camera, the Canon T1i, and am very excited about it! I was using a Sony a200, but i feel this upgrade was a great move, and cant wait to post some new stuff! For now, here are a couple pictures i took with the new guy.

July 31 2010 - Family Reunion

I was approached by a woman at church asking if i could do her family photos, i of course agreed, and then as time progressed her family photos turned into her entire family and their families! What an opportunity and blessing! It was such a great experience and working with the little ones definitely kept me on my toes, these are just a couple snapshots from the day!

June 26 2010 - Caps and Gowns

Graduation is a time in our lives that will only happen once. So why not take some pictures! This was a girls night at the cottage that turned into a mini-photoshoot.

Prom. One of my friend was going and asked me to take pictures! She looked beautiful with her pretty dress. A fun girl to work with, full of great ideas :)

Krista and Brittany, two lovely ladies have just graduated from Dalhousie Nursing. For the Nursing Ball instead of finding some boys for dates, they took their two best friends! These girls wanted to have some fun before their dinner, so we traveled around Halifax and took some shots!

May 08 2010 - The Halifax Seaport Farmers Market

The Farmers Market is the highlight to many peoples Saturday mornings in Halifax. With the opening of the Seaport Farmers Market, the luxury of the market is now available everyday throughout the week! RCS is the engine behind this project, and have made it to be one of few efficiently green buildings in Halifax. It will be opening in the summer of 2010.

May 07 2010 - Massa and Qusai

This beautiful little girl is one of my good friends little sisters. She loved being in front of the camera, and was very easy to work with. She has the cutest little laugh and she is hilarious.

May 04 2010 - Cape Split

After university was out, a couple of girls decided to head to Cape Split, NS as an overnight getaway. After a two hour hike up, and a three hour hike back, complete with getting lost in the woods, i think we've all decided next time we'll stick to the path!

January 16 2010 - Purple Pinky Day

Halifax West High School had a day to raise money for the eradication of polio in Africa. In doing so, for $1 you could dye your pinky purple, just as they do in Africa for children who have had their vaccinations. It was a very successful day, and we raised a lot of money for our cause!
